Subscriptions
The Subscription system in BizMon exposes configuration that allows user to setup the subscriptions to only receive information about events in the application that is interesting to them. The subscription feature includes both the possibility to to be alerted as soon as something with the subscription fails. It does also makes it possible to subscribe to a daily Message Tracking Report that tells the user how many messages that has been received and sent for the applications with in the subscription.
Configuration of subscription
A subscription is a set of applications and email addresses. The subscription can be a subscription to all error that occur within the applications or to receive a daily report of sent and received messages. The configuration is fully flexible and different roles within the organization can have different combinations of applications and reports sent to them.
Error Monitoring Alert and update
An Error Monitoring Alert is sent to the configured email addresses list as soon as something fails within any of the applications that are configured as part of the subscription. The mail alert will create a list of all the configured applications that contains an error and also describe the error as detailed as possible. The BizMon Alert Service is configurable so that alerts only are sent within a specific interval to make sure that your inbox won’t be flooded with alerts as soon as something fails.
As soon as the errors are fixed and a subscription changes status from failed to fixed a update alerts will be sent informing the users that everything within the subscription is OK and the issues has been resolved.
Message Tracking Report
Message Tracking Reports are sent out once a day. The report will contain information about how many messages that has been received and sent during the last 24 hours for the application within the subscription. At what time the report is generated and sent out is configurable. This means that a Message Tracking Report could be sent out at 02:00 AM and will then contain statics all the way back to 02:00 the previous day.
